Beef Tofu (Niku Tofu)
Beef Tofu (Niku Tofu) tastes much like Sukiyaki but it’s a more easy and simple dish and suitable for rice bowl.
Instructions
- cut tofu into 1 inch square
- slice beef into 1 bite pieces
- slice onion into 1/2 inch
- put dashi, sake, sugar and soy sauce into a pot and turn on the gas.
- once it's boiled add sliced onion and sliced beef. skim off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water.
- once skimmed off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water, add Tofu into a pot and heat with low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
- dish up the food on a plate
