Simmered Squid and Daikon Radish
if it’s big 1 squid is enugh
peel the daikon radish and cut it into large peaces.
remove the guts from the squid. Cut the body into 1 cm rings and cut the tentacles into chunks.
add the dashi, soy sauce, mirin and daikon radish and squid tentacles(not body yet) into the pot and boil until daikon become soft.(about 45 mins)
add squid body into a pot. boil for about 5 mins.
check if daikon radish becomes soft and turn off the gas. dish up the food on a plate
