  1. cut tofu into 1 inch square
  2. slice beef into 1 bite pieces
  3. slice onion into 1/2 inch
  4. put dashi, sake, sugar and soy sauce into a pot and turn on the gas.
  5. once it’s boiled add sliced onion and sliced beef. skim off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water.
  6. once skimmed off the scum that rises to the surface of the cooking water, add Tofu into a pot and heat with low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
  7. dish up the food on a plate
